Q: How does Click & Collect work?
Click & Collect is a free service. When your delivery is ready, you will recieve a notification with all information required. Pickup address is 25b Latcham Drive. On arrival, text or call insert number and one of our team will bring your meat to your car. Please advise what vehicle you are driving, and have your order number ready.
Q: When can I collect my meat?
All orders are prepared first thing in the morning. Orders must be in by 11:59pm the night before. Pickup the same day of order is unavailable. Our team run a large operation and want to ensure we have enough time to prepare your order with care and accuracy.
DELIVERY
Q: Where do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to the coast-side of the Sunshine Coast. Post-codes included are: 4551, 4553, 4556, 4572, 4558, 4575 & 4557
Q: When should I place my order?
You can place your order anytime. The delivery calendar should give you a clear idea of what days we are available to deliver.
Q: Is there a delivery fee?
Order valued between $74.99-$119.98 = $10 fee.
Order valued OVER $119.99 = $0 (FREE DELIVERY).
Q: What time will my meat be delivered?
On the day of your delivery we will send you notifications when we are on our way. The delivery window will be a four hour window. We ask that you make every effort to be home in that time. We prefer to place the box of meat in your hands so we know it is kept at it's optimal freshness.
GENERAL FAQ
Q: Why is my meat going brown?
It’s normal for fresh meat to change colour over time due to exposure to oxygen. The red colour in meat comes from a protein called myoglobin, which binds with oxygen to form oxymyoglobin, giving meat its bright red appearance. As the meat continues to be exposed to air or is stored for longer, myoglobin can oxidize into metmyoglobin, which has a brownish colour.
This change is purely cosmetic and doesn’t mean the meat is spoiled. As long as it’s been stored properly and doesn’t have an off smell or slimy texture, it’s still perfectly safe to eat.
Q: Can I return my purchased products?
Returning an order is strictly prohibited, regardless of the circumstances. Our products are perishable in nature, making them ineligible for return or exchange. However if you are unsatisfied with your product, please get in contact.
Q: How does my product remain fresh and cold?
We prioritise protecting the cold chain. We value the freshness of our product, so we cut our meat on the day of the delivery. We then keep the meat stored below 5 degrees celsius at all times. It is packaged fresh, placed in a box, and delivered in a refrigerated vehicle with a unit temperature that sits between -1 & 1 degree celsius.
